Johnny and Hanna opted to have their engagement session in the beautiful Breckenridge, Colorado. Don’t forget the golden doodles!

Hoosier Pass, Colorado

Our first stop was in Hoosier Pass, Colorado, where I had once shot a first look for a wedding. We started at the top of the mountain to get the best of the view at sunrise, and then dropped down to the reservoir for some portraits shielded from the chilly wind. You would never know from these photos that it was only 3 degrees with a -15 wind chill!

Breckenridge, Colorado

Our next stop was downtown Breckenridge. We decided to take the ski lift up (the dogs did great!), and then made our way down by the shops. The streets are so beautiful, there is no shortage of portrait-ready locations in Breckenridge.

Hanna and Johnny were absolute champs. With the cold temps, a sunrise start time, and bringing along their two dogs, it was a big day. But Jackson and I had such a fun time with them, and were more than happy to fly out for their session!
