There is nothing quite like a Chautauqua Institution September Wedding. There’s something special about the way the light filters through the trees in this transition season, giving all of CHQ a romantic golden glow. I know I’m biased, but I swear it’s magical.
When Caroline and Max initially reached out about their wedding, I could tell from their inquiry email that they were my kind of people. They’re both incredibly kind, generous, have an amazing sense of humor, and an unwavering appreciation for beauty in not just places and things, but moments as well. Needless to say, when we hopped on their Discovery Call we instantly clicked.
Chautauqua Institution is a special place, and it holds memories for many families. The Granger family is one of those families, so when Max and Caroline began brainstorming wedding locations, CHQ Institution was a no-brainer for them. Caroline was born to be a Chautauqua Bride.
Selecting spots on the grounds for photos was so much fun, because so many spots hold special memories for them. It wasn’t just about what is beautiful, but what is meaningful as well. They wanted images that tell a story, and document moments beautifully. I was more than happy to deliver!
Max and Caroline curated an amazing team of vendors, who I was thrilled to be working alongside. From beautiful deep florals by Christy Muck of Wild Blossom Hollow, to the intentional planning of Here and Now Weddings & Events, this wedding was a joy to be a part of and document. It was also a pleasure working alongside Wedding Stories in Motion again. If you’re looking for a videographer, they’re amazing!
