Summer Minis | The Sullivan Family in Westfield, NY

This mini session had all the makings of a perfect summer morning — soft light, a quiet Lake Erie shoreline, and two kids who clearly had zero interest in sitting still (in the best way).

We started with everyone close together on a blanket, all giggles and tickles before anyone even remembered a camera was there. From there, we worked in the classic family portraits — mom and dad kneeling in the sand with their two littles, then the whole family walking the shoreline together, hand in hand.

But the real magic happened in between. A handful of pebbles pouring through small fingers. A little boy in a blue button-up balancing his way down a piece of driftwood while mom watched close behind. Dad tossing his son up with a laugh so big you can practically hear it in the photo.

This is exactly what a mini session is meant to be — short, easy, and full of the small moments that make a family who they are.
