This year’s summer beach minis at Barcelona Beach in Westfield, NY were a total success. Thank you to all families who booked a session!
It was a Saturday evening, and the temperature was a blistering 97 degrees, with it cooling down to a balmy 87 by 8pm for the last session of the night. A frequent reassurance I gave during the sessions was that I could remove any sweat stains from images, and I did. Lots. Don’t worry parents, I’ve got you covered!
A New Season for Katie Graham Photography…
Though I have offered a few mini sessions in the past, this is my first year shifting to make them a pillar in my business. I went into this batch of summer minis at Barcelona Beach with a experimental mindset, testing to see what works, what families love when booking a mini session, and taking notes for the future.
I was pleased to find the whole evening running smoothly (despite the blistering heat), and all families overwhelmingly thrilled with their images. My inbox was a very pleasant place to be the days following delivering their galleries!
Side Note: You would not BELIEVE how many people I edited out of the background of these images! It was a busy night at Barcelona Beach!
Looking ahead…
Don’t hit me for saying this (I know it’s still July), but I’m already working on Autumn and Christmas Minis for later this year.
