Some love stories start on a first date. Katie and Cameron’s started in a school auditorium, when a young Cameron took the stage as Sebastian the Crab in a school production of The Little Mermaid — and Katie turned to her mom and said she was going to marry that boy someday. Years later, on an August afternoon at Yodeler Lodge in Ellicottville, she did.
Cameron and Katie wanted their Yodeler Lodge wedding day to feel like anything but a typical wedding day — full of unique imagery, real moments, and as much time as possible soaking in the people who mean the most to them. And that’s exactly what we got. From a sweet, excited first look on the lodge’s balcony to a *totally normal Saturday* walk across the Holiday Valley hillside with the bridal party trailing behind, every part of the day had its own kind of energy — joyful, a little wild, and completely themselves.
The ceremony under the timber-framed pavilion was full of happy tears, and the reception that followed didn’t slow down for a second — heartfelt toasts, a cake-cutting with icing flung in celebration, and a dance floor that never really emptied out.
Congratulations, Cameron and Katie. Here’s to the best show yet.
