Gabe and Nichole’s Chautauqua Institution Wedding weekend took place at the very end of the summer. The leaves and light were just beginning to change from that of summer to autumn.  It was a stunning affair, blending Serbian and Palestinian traditions as two families, each proud of their distinct heritages, came together to celebrate Gabe and Nichole’s marriage.

The rehearsal dinner took place next to the Chautauqua Clock Tower, and focused on Gabe’s Palestinian heritage, and their traditions.  From the speeches, to the dancing, to the shaving ceremony, it was an experience I won’t soon forget.  Also, their DJ that evening was easily one of the best I’ve ever worked with.

The morning of the wedding, Nichole and her bridesmaids got ready at her family home on Chautauqua Lake in Bemus Point, NY.  Nichole’s family has deep ties to Bemus Point, making this a meaningful place to begin their special day.  Nichole’s dress featured lace that emulated the Hall of Philosophy’s architecture, where they would be having the ceremony later that day, and her veil was the same veil her two sisters wore on their wedding days.

On Chautauqua Institution grounds, the ceremony took place at the Hall of Philosophy, and the reception was hosted in the Athenaeum Hotel.  The day was absolutely beautiful from beginning to end, and Gabe and Nichole had the best team of vendors present to make their Chautauqua Institution Wedding happen.  All vendors are listed and linked at the bottom of this post!
